Victorino, Seasonal Agricultural Worker from Mexico

My name is Victorino. My job here at DC Farms is to work with eggplants and cucumbers.  We are very comfortable at this farm and we hope that we return next year.  More than anything we are very grateful to farmers Ernie, Mary and Mike.

I have been at this farm for eight years.  My family now is much better economically than before and they are very comfortable.  Now they live very differently, their lives have been changed thanks to the Seasonal Agriculture Worker Program.  I am grateful for that.

Whenever I return to Mexico, I also work in the fields.  I plant corn, barley, wheat and potatoes.
