My name is Leticia Mendoza Cruz. I’m from Mexico. I’ve been coming for 30 years but I have 27 years here at this farm. In Mexico, it’s so hard. Here, I had the opportunity to work, make money to build my house and care for my family.
I love the flowers. It’s my favourite – picking the flowers. What do I do? Anything. I’m picking the flowers and planting – doing everything. I’m very happy here. I like working here. I feel very, very happy with this family and my coworkers. Lots of people love me here.
I come in January and go back home in September, every year. When I’m home, I love spending time visiting my family. I also have a little farm there so I’m picking coffee and oranges.
