For the last 10 years, Martin S. has been working at Nature Fresh Farms. Originally from Mexico, Martin decided to join Canada’s Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) Program 14 years ago to help support his wife and six children financially. We have been happy to have Martin as a member of our team for the last decade!
Before coming to Canada, Martin worked in agriculture, but he has a different vision for his life once he retires from the TFW Program: “My mother owned some land in Mexico, so before I came to Canada, I worked on her land growing corn and beans. Now that I’m working here in Canada I want to keep working and saving money, but when I retire, I want to open a pharmacy back in Mexico.
Nature Fresh Farms is a special company for Martin: “Nature Fresh Farms means a lot to me. There are lots of opportunities here for me to grow and learn, and the money I’ve made here has let me make a better life for my family back in Mexico.”
When Martin has some free time, he enjoys going to the beach, shopping, and going for runs in the afternoon after work. He also enjoys talking with his family whenever he can!
Since Martin has worked at Nature Fresh Farms for 10 years, he knows he can complete any task that comes his way! Whether it’s maintaining Tomato plants, picking Peppers, or anything in-between, Martin has been with our team long enough that he can always get the job done, no matter what.
